Zoning Fees
Zoning fees help cover the cost of reviewing applications, inspections, and administrative work. Fees vary depending on the type of request—such as zoning permits, variances, or amendments. For a full list of current fees, please see below:

New Home: $1500.00, Plus .25 cents per Sq. Ft additional for anything over 2000 Sq. Ft.

Additions (.25 cents per Sq. Ft): Minimum $200.00 Maximum $500.00

Other Building/Garages (.25 cents per Sq. Ft): Minimum $200.00 Maximum $1000.00

Commercial (Per Sq. Ft. – No Maximum): Per Sq. Ft. $ .25

Signs (Per Sq. Ft.): $ 5.00

Temporary Quarters (Building, House or RV (Motor Home): one year $200.00 6 Month 1 Time Extension $100.00. After 18 months temporary quarters may not to be used.

Zoning Meetings
Liberty Township holds zoning meetings to review applications, hear requests, and make decisions on zoning matters. These meetings are open to the public and include:

Zoning Commission Meetings: First and third Tuesday each month at 6:30 pm

​Reviews zoning amendments, development plans, and township-wide zoning recommendations.

Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) Meetings: Meet as needed or for variance requests

Hears variance requests, conditional use permits, and appeals of zoning decisions.​
